Full Description

Experience two of Tsukiji's must-do activities in one easy 2-hour experience: a small-group Tsukiji Fish Market tour led by a market insider and a hands-on sushi making class.

Start in Tsukiji Outer Market, one of Tokyo's most famous food districts. Explore the lively market streets and specialty shops with a Tsukiji market insider. Meet local shop owners and discover seafood, Japanese ingredients, traditional food culture, and professional kitchen tools. The market walk is limited to 8 guests, allowing for a more personal experience in the busy market.

After the market walk, head to our cooking studio in the heart of Tsukiji for a hands-on sushi making class. Make 10 pieces of sushi, including tuna, salmon, vegetable sushi, traditional inari sushi, and a tuna roll.

What makes this experience different is the quality behind every part of the experience.

It is authentic because the family behind the experience has more than 100 years of connections to Tsukiji Market. These relationships help us work with trusted specialty shops and bring ingredients, Japanese sushi tools, real fresh wasabi, and the food culture of Tsukiji into the experience.

It is beautiful because you do more than simply make sushi. As you finish each piece, arrange it in your own handcrafted wooden bento box. The empty box gradually becomes a colorful sushi bento that you created yourself, making the finished meal a memorable part of the experience.

It is delicious because ingredient quality matters. We use fresh, high-quality ingredients from Tsukiji Market, including tuna and salmon, so even first-time guests can enjoy sushi that is both beautiful and genuinely delicious.

No previous cooking or sushi making experience is needed. Your instructor demonstrates each step clearly using simple English and visual guidance, making the class easy to follow for beginners, families, and international travelers.

Once your sushi bento is complete, take photos and enjoy the sushi you made yourself at the venue.

In just 2 hours, you can experience the people and food culture of Tsukiji Market, learn the basics of sushi making, and create a beautiful sushi bento using ingredients and tools connected to the market.
