Start by exploring Tsukiji Market with a local insider who knows the area deeply. Walk through hidden alleys and visit specialty shops rarely discovered by independent travelers. Meet local shop owners, learn about seafood, ingredients, and traditional tools, and experience the authentic atmosphere of Tokyo’s most famous food district.

After understanding Tsukiji’s culture, step into the sushi experience. Create 10 pieces of sushi using fresh ingredients sourced from Tsukiji, including tuna, salmon, and seasonal items. With guidance, you’ll use authentic Japanese tools and professional knives to shape each piece by hand.

Then beautifully arrange your sushi in a traditional wooden bento box—creating a photogenic and memorable meal to enjoy on-site. This is not just about making sushi, but experiencing it in the place where sushi culture truly lives.

The market tour is conducted in a small group (max 8 guests) for a more personal experience, followed by a sushi making class in a relaxed group setting. you’ll enjoy a personal and relaxed atmosphere.

    • No takeout available. For food safety, all sushi and lunch boxes must be consumed on-site and cannot be taken to go.
    • This is a hands-on cooking class where you will eat what you prepare; however, as we handle raw fish, please refrain from participating if you are feeling unwell.
    • Please arrive at the meeting point at least 10 minutes before the start time. Late arrivals may not be able to join. 
    • This tour departs strictly on time. No refunds will be issued for late arrivals or no-shows under any circumstances, including prior notification. Please allow plenty of time for travel to the meeting point. 
    • We will try to accommodate allergy-related requests, though it may not be possible. 
    • Sushi must be consumed on-site and cannot be taken away. 
    • Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. 
    • Some Tsukiji market shops may accept cash only. If you would like to shop during the tour, we recommend bringing small cash or coins. 
    • Large suitcases or oversized luggage are not recommended. Please travel light if possible.
    What to bring
      • Having cash on hand makes shopping much easier. Some stores do not accept credit cards.
      • If it rains, you should bring an umbrella to avoid catching a cold while traveling.
